In attendance at the 49th annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, this eye-catching Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Responder is officially a “hit.”
Jeep unveiled the Wrangler Red Rock Responder a few weeks ago as part of lineup of 7 new concepts participating at the Easter Jeep Safari this year.
This particular Jeep concept is a support vehicle, made to travel along the most hardcore terrain while carrying the best off-roading equipment. Jeep has outfitted the Wrangler Red Rock Responder concept with spare parts, tools, built-in drawers, and compartments in the cargo box. On board is a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and other items meant to assist a motorist stranded or in need of help.
The exterior paint is a stunning Vibrance Responder red. The Jeep is also outfitted with a Jeep Performance Parts body decal, 10th Anniversary hood with hydraulic hood props, high-top fender flares, and 17” deadlock wheels with a red deadlock ring. Lighting includes LED headlights and foglights, LED A-pillar lights, and off-road lights.
Functionality is increased with the added 37” BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2 tires, 4” of JPP lift, Fox shocks, and Dana 60 axles in the front and rear with 5.38 gearing by Jeep Performance Parts. It also sports prototype off-road rock rails, a Warn winch, and Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition steel front and rear bumpers. The bumpers were previously only available for the concepts but went into production after high demand by consumers. To increase performance, Jeep added a cold-air intake for better breathing under testing conditions.
This Jeep concept and its concept cousins are wheeling in Moab, Utah March 28 – April 5, 2015. Hopefully you’ll have a chance to see it in person.
